OverviewPAM-12 is a cost effective soil-stabilizing amendment. The granules serve as a carrier, delivery system, and tracer for a proven erosion control polymer.
Methods of application: PAM-12 is easy to apply and offers versatility in methods that can be used:
1. Fertilizer Spreaders, Drop or Broadcast 2. Ariel Applied, Fixed Wing or Helicopter 3. Hydraulically applied, Hydro-Seeder
Active Ingredient PAM-12 contains water-soluble polymers known as linear polyacrylamides. These soil-stabilizing polymers are “watered out” of the granule when wet. These powerful polymers have been used to fight erosion in agriculture for over 30 years. They offer the following benefits: Soil Binding Properties Moisture Management1. Binds soil particles 1. Reduces irrigation frequency 2. Increase water infiltration 2. Increases soil moisture retention 3. Opens soil porosity 3. Promotes lateral movement of water 4. Increases seedling emergence through soil structure 5. Reduces silt transport by surface water 6. Reduces rill erosion
Application The primary purpose of PAM-12 is to help protect soil resources in areas the soil has been scarified and/or exposed. The product can be blended, if desired, with seeds to function as a seed carrier. The mulch agglomerates are asymmetrical, possess interlocking properties, and are small enough to resist segregation of seed.
